Cathy lives in Leicester with Martin, Grace, Lucy and Joseph, and for the last 8 years has been a personal trainer, helping lots of people across South Leicestershire get fitter and feel better. This year she co-launched Ziesa Ltd, a corporate wellbeing company that offers a huge range of solutions to businesses who want to keep, nurture and simply care for their people. Across her work, Cathy talks an awful lot about setting personal challenges and goals, the importance of testing your own comfort zone, and the very great value of doing ‘good things’ for others. So a half marathon in Haiti for a very very worthwhile charity seemed like a great thing to do, to put her money where her mouth is… that is until she found out how many injections were needed..!
Seriously, please help us help this impoverished but beautiful country, raise awareness and much needed funds, and hopefully come back in one piece!
Sarah has lived with her husband Lino, and until recently their, now grown up daughters, Lucia and Elisa, and Buster and Baxter the dogs! They have run their two restaurants, Firenze, rebranded as The Lighthouse in 2013 and Boboli over these years, and always taken an active role in community events, and many fund raising efforts.
Sarah is always one for a challenge, Lino often applies the reverse psychology when he needs her to do something!!!
Recently Sarah has taken her personal health and fitness more seriously, apparently something to do with being Fab at Fifty, and has even confessed to enjoying running and getting excited about weights!!!
Coupled with discovering about the plight of the people of Haiti, a half marathon with the opportunity to help make a difference in these beautiful islands seemed too much of challenge to resist!
Thanks to Cathy spurring her on she aims to be fit and ready for the run as well as the emotional challenge of visiting Haiti and its people.
Martin lives in Leicester with Cathy, Grace, Lucy, Joseph and occasionally Rascal, when his owners are away.
The Little Rascal
For the last 18 years he has been a web designer, helping lots of people across South Leicestershire get their products and services to a wider audience. This year he co-launched Ziesa Ltd, a corporate wellbeing company that offers a huge range of solutions to businesses who want to keep, nurture and simply care for their people.
Martin works with the event organisers for the Holden Haiti Half and (foolishly?) jumped on the idea of doing this run to help raise funds and awareness for it, despite never having run any more than a bath before.
Please help us help this impoverished but beautiful country, raise awareness and much needed funds, and hopefully come back in one piece!
